Right... this project has gone completely
not in the direction i was hoping... which definitely speaks for a lot of things that happen in life. Anyway having moved this "Wall Piece" to the floor and then back again i fear for the survival of the piece as it was constructed on very thin paper. Now i rather regret smothering it so thickly in paint, actually in an ideal world i wouldn't have used paper at all, i would just paint on the wall (but in my current living arrangements this is not possible.)
Anyway this is what happened. First step a splash of white...
Then some colour...
To break up the colour I think adding the cut up pieces of previous work make the abstractness of the colour co- inside with the squareness of the paper parts.
Here is what is done so far, however i think it needs to be cropped to the second slide. Cutting the edges makes for a better composition, I think.
